Refund policy
At Ponzi Vineyards, every bottle we ship carries our name and our standard. If something arrives compromised, we'll make it right.
What We Cover
We accept returns and issue refunds or replacements for wine that is flawed or damaged, including:
- Bottles damaged in transit (breakage, leakage, label damage from shipping)
- Cork taint (TCA) or other clear winemaking flaws
- Incorrect items shipped against your order
Because wine is a living product and every situation is different, we evaluate these on a case-by-case basis rather than a fixed return window. If you notice an issue — whether it's the day it arrives or after you've opened a bottle down the line — reach out and we'll take care of it.
What We Don't Cover
We're not able to accept returns for wine based on personal taste preference. If a bottle simply isn't what you expected, we're glad to talk through it with you and offer guidance for next time, but it won't qualify for a refund or replacement.
How to Request a Return
- Contact us at info@ponzivineyards.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Include a photo if possible — this helps us resolve things quickly, especially for shipping damage or cooked wine.
- We'll confirm next steps — typically a refund, credit, or replacement bottle(s), depending on what makes sense for the situation.
Shipping Costs
For confirmed damaged or flawed wine, Ponzi Vineyards covers all associated shipping costs, including any return shipping if we need the bottle back for review.
Wine Club Members
If a flawed or damaged bottle was part of a club shipment, the same policy applies — contact us directly rather than through a general order inquiry, so we can resolve it alongside your membership account.
